China develops new submarine to reach the deepest point on earth





Chinese company is working to develop a manned submersible capable of diving to the deepest known point on Earth is the "Challenger Deep" or "profound challenge" (Challenger Deep) and has a depth of about 10,900 meters.

Being new submarine designed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), where he led the company formerly operation manned "Jiaolong" which reached a depth of 7062 meters during the dive into the Mariana Trench "Mariana Trench", located in the Pacific during the month of June to develop 2012.

China's new submarine is and will be the third vehicle that reaches the deepest part of the Challenger Deep or "profound challenge" in the event of success.

Point "profound challenge" has been recorded Koamq point on the earth's surface for the first time by a submarine, "a Swiss-Italian" design (Bathyscaphe Trieste) in 1960.

And achieved Australian Submarine "Dipsy Challenger" led by filmmaker and explorer famous sea, James Cameron, the same achievement to reach this depth in 2012.

And it reached 4 Cv submarines leadership including Chinese submarine Haidou-1 to the depth of the "Challenger Deep" last year.

CSIC said the company was working on making other submarine is capable of reaching a depth of 4,500 meters, which is currently in the final assembly and testing phase.
