Mental capacity decreases when women from the age of 50

The researchers cautioned that women's brains begin to decline at age 50, where he inspected their brains up to 5% of their capacity.

The researchers said that this decline mental unit in women has nothing to do with menopause, pointing out that there is no "sharp acceleration" in the decline of mental abilities.

The researchers explained that the decline in mental abilities of women between the ages of 50 and 60 years is not about the warning from dementia but normal feature of aging.

The study was based on more than 2000 healthy women follow at the age of 40 to 10 years after menopause, the researchers from the University of California at Los Angeles found that mental performance recorded a decline in the two main areas of cognitive processing speed and verbal memory.

It verbal memory have fallen on average by 1% for every five years with cognitive therapy including speed showed the speed of perception and interaction, a decline of 1% every two years.

The research said that "the decline in cognitive performance is not registered on a regular basis among those who were under the age of 60 years," the researchers pointed out that they did not register "sharp acceleration" in the mental abilities of women during the transition to menopause, but they are not on sure that low estrogen levels in the years leading up to menopause did not have a role in the deterioration of the mental status of women.

The researchers found that high levels of physical fitness and education help reduce the cognitive decline and that exercise increases levels of chemicals produced by the brain which helps in the integrity of Time.

Find recommends women who work jobs require great mental capabilities, maintain those jobs for a longer period as much as possible to slow cognitive aging.
