PRIMARY OF THE LEFT - Passion archives. While two radically opposing visions clash this Sunday in the second round of the primary of the left, a simple glance in the rearview mirror reminds us that the opponents of this day have not always been irreconcilable.
The last twenty-four hours, an old photo exhumed by the political scientist Laurent Bouvet on his Facebook page began to go around the social networks. Dated in 1993 and attributed to the photographer Marc Riboud who died this summer, Michel Rocard is discovered there as first secretary of the Socialist Party. The former prime minister, who is then the successor of François Mitterrand, is surrounded by a part of his young Guardian guard, symbols of the "second left." Since then, (almost) all have traced their course, even if they have to follow radically opposite paths.
